Lotus Artistry Studio Expands in Madison

Raw beauty is illuminated at Lotus Artistry Studio, which recently expanded into a larger space in Madison’s Regent neighborhood. Through the artistic vision of owner and lead artist Thien Huong Vuong, every look is masterfully crafted to suit the client as well as the occasion.

Vuong and her growing team offer a full list of hair services like cuts, color and styling—in addition to “special effects” like tinsel and aqua hair extensions. Makeup applications are customized to suit the celebratory event and an individual’s style, in tangent with current trends. Other offerings include eyelash lift and extensions, plus eyebrow waxing, tint and laminations.

The main studio room in Lotus Artistry Studio’s new space is filled with natural light, lush foliage and enough mirrors to catch the enchanting looks being created from a variety of angles. The other service rooms are private and serene for those patrons desiring a bit of solitude while they are being pampered.

Vuong and her team can provide a stellar experience “on the road” too. “We offer on-site travel for most services. And you can find us traveling most of, if not all, the time when it is wedding season!” she says. “Each client is a canvas with their own story and journey, and as artists, we have the privilege of playing a part in their self-expression. By valuing and celebrating the different canvases that sit in our chairs, we hope to provide a space where everyone will feel welcome and safe.”

Without a doubt, the Lotus Artistry glam squad embraces diversity by appreciating—and respecting—the unique beauty of different cultures, backgrounds and perspectives. This attention to building an inclusive environment is a big reason why business continues to boom for Vuong. Her clientele knows their natural assets will be enhanced (rather than diminished) thanks to each stylist’s pro knowledge on working with a wide array of skin and hair types. She truly believes humans have the capacity to not only make art, but to be living art because we are all beautiful to behold. She simply uses her brushes to help reveal the allure already present.

A grand opening is planned for Feb. 10. Through the end of February, the studio will be offering 20 percent off for new clients. To book an appointment with Lotus Artistry Studio or for more information, visit www.lotusartistrystudio.com.
