All aboard! The Kentucky Derby Dinner Train departs the East Troy Depot on May 4 at 3:30 p.m., ensuring guests will be back to the Depot in time to watch the Kentucky Derby with their fellow passengers.
The Kentucky Derby Dinner event starts at 2:30 with music and a cash bar in the depot. The train departs the East Troy Depot at 3:30 p.m. Dinner is served on the train, including a cash bar serving cocktails such as mint juleps.
Dinner starts with a southern pimento cheese spread with petite toasts, followed by southern sweet potato and spinach salad, then enjoy Kentucky hot brown sliders, shrimp, and smoked grits. Dessert is dirty derby bread pudding. Back in the depot for the race, multiple gourmet hors d’oeuvres will be passed, including Brown Sugar Southern Chicken Bites, Bacon Deviled Eggs and Andouille Tarts.
The cost includes the meal and gratuity. Soft drinks, beer, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase.
