Petrifying Springs Golf Course

Kenosha

Open since 1936, Petrifying Springs Golf Course, or “Pets” as the locals call it, offers 18 holes of rolling landscape in one of the state’s natural hardwood forests. The fall colors are incredible, and this “best of Kenosha” course offers a great value for avid or novice golfers.

What we find fabulous: After your round, stop by the park’s authentic German biergarten for a pint and a giant Bavarian pretzel or brat. Enjoy live local music and fire pits at this dog-friendly stop.
