March 8: Shamrock Kick-Off Party

Kickstart your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with a bang at the Shamrock Kick-Off Party hosted by Milwaukee’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Lucky Clover Irish Pub. This lively event sets the tone for the festivities ahead with live music from Ian Gould, raffle prizes from local businesses (including hotel stays, events and dining gift cards) and drink specials from the event’s sponsors, including Miller Lite, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. March 9: Milwaukee St. Patrick’s Day Parade

No St. Patrick’s Day in Milwaukee would be complete without attending the iconic St. Patrick’s Day Parade presented by Shamrock Club of Wisconsin. Join thousands of spectators lining the streets of Downtown Milwaukee to cheer on over 100 colorful floats, marching bands, Irish dancers and more. The parade showcases the city’s vibrant Irish community and is a family-friendly event that captures the essence of the holiday. This parade is in its 56th year celebrating the Irish and will begin at noon at MLK Drive and Wisconsin Avenue.

March 9: Shamrock Club of Wisconsin Post-Parade Party

Keep the party going after the parade at the Shamrock Club Post-Parade Party. Held at the historic Milwaukee Irish Cultural and Heritage Center, this event continues the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with more music, dancing and craic across four stages. This event is family-friendly and will run from 1:30 to 6 p.m.

For those looking for a more relaxed and creative way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, why not try your hand at cupcake decorating? Petunia & Honey Baking Co. will host a St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake-Decorating Class to honor the Irish holiday from 6 to 8 p.m. This indulgent lesson will teach guests how to create holiday-inspired cupcakes (pictured above) with specialty piping and gold flecks for a beautiful and delicious holiday treat to take home.

March 16: Pub Pioneers Leaping Leprechaun Pub Crawl

March 17: Luck of the Irish Run

Don your favorite green attire and lace up those running shoes for the Luck of the Irish Run, taking place at Veterans Park at 9 a.m. Runners can participate in a 5K or 10K race, though both have a two-hour cut-off time. All participants of the green race will receive a long-sleeved shirt, finisher medal, free photos, race time and post-race eats.

March 17: Milwaukee Official St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

Get ready to crawl through some of Milwaukee’s best watering holes with Milwaukee Official St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl. This spirited crawl takes participants on a journey through the city’s lively bar scene, with four venues to explore, party favors, live music and the chance to make new friends along the way.
