Hold My Beer Opens in Kenosha

Hold My Beer, a woman-owned axe-throwing and craft-pouring experience, has opened in Downtown Kenosha. The much-anticipated opening is now accepting axe lane reservations.

Hold My Beer Kenosha is a passion project from Meghan Mills and her fiancé, Luke Faulkner, who are excited about the opportunity to provide a fun gathering space for community. “Collaborating with other small businesses and fostering charitable partnerships is the heart of our mission,” says Mills, in a press release. “We love Kenosha. We chose to build our business here so that we could have a positive impact on this city’s growth and reputation and so we can serve our community and give back.”

Upon arrival, Hold My Beer Kenosha patrons will receive a card that allows them to access the self-serve tap wall, where both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options will be available. Guests can order from the Kick Axe food menu with charcuterie boards, soft pretzels and locally sourced pizzas, and enjoy an array of complimentary games including cards, board games and shuffleboard. Axe throwing is an additional fee.

Though Hold My Beer Kenosha opens its doors June 15, the outpost will host a special ribbon-cutting ceremony July 8 at 10 a.m. with the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce. A Grand Opening Celebration is slated to follow at 11 a.m. “We are having an amazing time together creating a fun gathering place for the community. It is with tremendous joy that we are finally ready to welcome the community to Hold My Beer,” says Mills, in a press release.

Hold My Beer Kenosha is open Tuesday to Thursday, 3 to 10 p.m.; Friday, 3 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Monday).
