Settled in the heart of Delafield is Belfrē Kitchen—an elegant cafe and eatery that seamlessly blends simplicity and sophistication through its American menu offerings.
The concept for the space was developed by Amy Quinn and her two daughters, who upon a visit to a family-owned gelato shop in Santorini, Greece, were inspired to start a business of their own.
They wanted a restaurant that was not only unique in character, but one that placed a particular focus on intentionality—a characteristic that’s apparent in everything from the design of the space to the quality of the ingredients in each dish.
And in May 2016, Belfrē Kitchen was born—in one of the oldest existing buildings in Delafield, no less.
Since its inception, Belfrē has evolved into of the most charming spots in all of Wisconsin—known for its fresh and locally sourced food, inviting wine list, and a cozy, family-oriented ambience that can’t quite be replicated.
Some of our favorite dishes include the sweet potato agnolotti and the pan-seared maple leaf duck breast for dinner. The bacon-wrapped figs and poke bowl are lunchtime standout. Plus, don’t miss the special brunch menu every Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
