Favorite ways to spend your free time in WI: When we’re in the summer months, I absolutely love spending time in my backyard. It’s like a little heavenly sanctuary. Winter is generally spent waiting for the summer.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: I am being featured in the November Vogue issue as one of the most successful woman business owners in Milwaukee! I never saw this coming and am so honored to be chosen for this special feature.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: I am actually a stage 3 breast cancer survivor. This was a very difficult time for me, but I grew as a person and business owner.
Someone who inspires you and why: Gwyneth Paltrow! She always seems to challenge herself to take the unexpected opportunities and paths in life.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: I always recommend assisting for weddings with a pro in the industry. This is the best way to get your feet wet and find out if event planning is truly something you will enjoy!

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: Often times I come across as a “city” girl. I love to wear dresses and red lipstick. Little do others know that I am such an outdoorsy girl. I think I was a woodland nymph in a different life.
What makes someone fabulous: The ability to overcome different situations and life circumstances with grace and dignity. I am a firm believer in the concept that “we grow through what we go through.”
