Madison Night Market

Madison’s Central Business Improvement District (BID) is back with the Madison Night Market on select summer dates. This year, more than ever, the Downtown Madison businesses are encouraging, inviting, and welcoming the community back downtown. Everyone is invited!
Madison is famous for great shopping, amazing food and a talented art scene and now these three community assets have come together again for a unique urban experience. The Madison Night Market is a celebration of Madison’s unique and inspiring creative culture. Vendors showcase handmade products, local art, artisan gifts, and prepackaged foods. The event includes live music, special visiting food carts and pop-up restaurant experiences.
Held the 2nd Thursday of the month, more than 7,000 attendees come downtown each market. The remaining 2022 dates are 8/11 and 9/8. From 4 – 8pm everyone is invited to come celebrate all things Madison. The market will vary from month to month with different vendors and entertainment.
The Market is held rain or shine.
SPECIAL GUEST
Everyone’s favor Badger – Bucky Badger will be at the Market to kick it off! Stop by Lisa Link Peace Park, located at 452 State Street from 4 – 4:45 to meet and have pictures taken with Bucky with the market or with the WI State Capitol.
MUSICAL PERFORMANCES
Beni Daiko 4:30 – 5:30pm
Beni Daiko is Madison’s premiere mainland taiko drumming group. This Japanese Taiko Group was founded in November 2012. “Beni” means “deep red” in Japanese, representing Madison, and “Taiko” means drum. Their goal is to teach, preserve, and perform the ancient art of Taiko drumming, a form of traditional Japanese musical expression that combines mental discipline and physical demand. The John Masino Band6 – 8pm
JMB is a Rock band from Madison, Wisconsin, featuring John Masino, Bobby Duncanson, Michael Masino, Brian Dahl, and Bob Kennedy. This award-winning band won Best Guitarist in the 2022 Madison Music Awards, as well as Best World Album for “Phase into Change”. They have opened shows for: Kool And The Gang, Cheap Trick, KC and The Sunshine Band, Quiet Riot, and many others.
