Dad-of-two Christopher Graham-Capelle is the marketing manager of Bartolotta Restaurants. From camping to bike rides to cookouts, this Milwaukee dad loves taking it to the great outdoors to spend quality time with his tots.

Favorite ways to spend family time in WI: My favorite ways to spend quality family time is with bike rides, walks in the parks around our house and camping at state parks throughout the state – Peninsula State Park, Potawatomi State Park, Council Grounds State Park, Cave of the Mounds and Devil’s Lake, to name a few.
Your most rewarding fatherhood moment: There is nothing that is more rewarding than when my kids say “I love you” or give me unsolicited hugs.
Biggest challenge as a dad: Finding that balance between work and family.
A father who inspires you and why: My own dad – he has a great dedication to providing for his family, but also gave us never-ending love and support, no matter what.
Best piece of advice for a new dad: Get as much sleep as you can before your baby arrives, and learn that you are no longer in control when they do show up on to the scene. They call the shots – when you sleep, when they eat, when they need a diaper change. Give up control for a while, and go with the flow. It makes it easier.
Your biggest hope for your children: That they grow up with love and respect for everyone they encounter in their life, no matter their gender, skin color, religion, background, employment, etc.
How are you celebrating Father’s Day: With my family doing a cookout in our backyard and hopefully getting a nap in during the afternoon!
