From days-long concerts to family-friendly parades and parties, these Wisconsin Pride events welcome in Pride Month is style.

June 1 to June 3: PrideFest Milwaukee

PrideFest Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s largest LGBTQIA+ festival since 1987, is set to take place June 1 to June 3 at Henry Maier Festival Park. After two years of COVID-induced cancelations, PrideFest returned with record-breaking attendance in June 2022. This year’s lineup includes performances by Peaches, Betty Who, Murray {the Magician} Sawchuck, DJ Shawna and many more electrifying acts. On Friday night, guests can enjoy Viva Carnival in the Northwestern Mutual Community Park, a celebration of ball culture and the Ballroom Scene. PrideFest Milwaukee organizers also welcome back Dance Pavilion host, Melee the Queen, who will be joined by RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Stacy Lane Matthews and local performers Dora Diamond, Montell Infinity Ross and Malayia Marvel.

June 3: Ride with Pride

This Wisconsin Pride event is the world’s largest LGBTQIA+ motorcycle run! Taking place June 3, starting at 11 a.m. at House of Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee, Ride with Pride will offer a police escort to clear its path. Only highway-capable motorcycles are permitted on the ride. While the ride is free, riders must register and sign waivers.

Milwaukee Pride Parade

June 4: Milwaukee Pride Parade

Founded in 2005, this Wisconsin Pride event is a family fun-oriented celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride for the citizens of Southeast Wisconsin and Milwaukee. This year’s Milwaukee Pride Parade steps off at 2 p.m. at 2nd Street and Greenfield Avenue and travels north on 2nd Street to Seeboth Street (the parade is typically about two hours long). Post-parade, enjoy the Walker’s Point Block Party and patronize local LGBTQIA+ and ally bars. For more information, visit www.prideparademke.org.

June 15 to June 18: Central Wisconsin Pride

A celebration of togetherness, Central Wisconsin Pride–taking place June 15 to June 18–offers three fun-filled days of stage shows, dance parties, swim parties, camping and more for the entire family. For more information and the Wisconsin Pride event’s full schedule, visit www.centralwipride.org.

June 24: Open Door Pride Festival

Open Door Pride is dedicated to LGBTQIA+ and ally communities in Door County, with its Open Door Pride Festival taking place June 24 in Sturgeon Bay at Martin Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This seventh-annual family-friendly Wisconsin Pride event features entertainment from MC Barrett Tyron, DJ Tim Walters, Katie Dahl and a drag show at 4 p.m., as well as hosts food vendors, games in the park, art activities and much more.
