Mr. B's

Restaurant of the Week: Mr. B’s – A Bartolotta Steakhouse

Dishing up one of the region’s most extensive selection of prime steaks, Mr. B’s – A Bartolotta Steakhouse, found in the Milwaukee suburb of Brookfield, has been recognized as one of the nation’s top steakhouse and is a Distinguished Restaurants of North America winner. Mr. B’s offers diners a versatile setting that features a lively bar with a daily happy hour and a seasonal outdoor patio.

Head to Mr. B’s any day of the week for a mouthwatering variety of steaks. We recommend this restaurant whether you’re visiting alone, on a date, with your family, need an impressive business meal–actually, we recommend Mr. B’s for any and every occasion. Simply put, Mr. B’s is the place to go to comfort your hungry stomach.

This traditional fine dining steakhouse is formal, yet incredibly welcoming. The chatter in the dining room is a friendly change after a long-awaited return to the restaurant scene during the pandemic. If you’re visiting in the spring and summer months, we recommend requesting a seat on the patio, where the warm air and night stars will set a beautiful ambiance for your dinner.

Mr. B’s – A Bartolotta Steakhouse features a wide variety of steaks cooked to perfection in a high-heat wood-burning oven, which gives the meat a caramelized, buttery crust. Mr. B’s is a carnivore’s dream venue; good luck choosing from the menu! The calamari appetizer was a pleasant start to our evening, cooked to perfection in garlic, mint and lemon with a side of marinara for dipping. A must on the menu is the shellfish bisque, which comes as a bowl, but easy to share when dining as two. For some surf with Mr. B’s award-winning turf, we ordered the filet with scallops and the filet with crab cakes on the combo menu and were in heaven. The dishes come with your choice of potato (you can’t go wrong with any) and sauce; our picks are the bourbon-peppercorn cream and cabernet wine sauce. The additional sides are shareable for a table of four, so be mindful when ordering as you’re sure to fill up fast.

While we love a good pairing of steak and wine, the current cocktail selection, designed in house by Mr. B’s bartenders, is a list you must try. The summer mixers are a refreshing pair for the seasonal patio and the after-dinner dessert drinks are a happy end to an enjoyable evening.
