Art in Bloom at the Milwaukee Art Museum

Celebrate Spring! Join the Milwaukee Art Museum’s celebration of spring and discover floral interpretations of artwork in the galleries. This four-day event, from April 18 to April 21, features live music, refreshments, shopping, art-making and more.

The exhibit is open on Thursday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Book your timed tickets this afternoon to see the fully completed floral displays. Prior to noon, witness the skill and finesse of local artisans while they construct their floral arrays in the galleries. At 6 p.m., the Judges’ Award winners are announced in Lubar Auditorium.

On Friday, April 19, the gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reserve separate tickets for the Floral Fashion party on Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m.

The exhibit is open on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Watch floral demonstrations by Vicki Kunz of La Tulipe at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Kohl’s Art Studio is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Today, the event stays open until 8 p.m., with live music and a wine bar in Windhover Hall.

On Sunday, April 21, the gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Kohl’s Art Studio is open 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for museum members, $31 for general admission, free for kids 12 and under, and $25 for students, seniors (65-plus), military and teachers.
