Located in Trego, Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad now offers private dining train rides. This unique, new service will provide parties of up to six with their own enclosed cabin aboard the train and a dining experience unlike any other.
Perfect for romantic date nights or intimate celebrations, Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad dinner train rides can turn any occasion into a memory to last a lifetime. After the train departs the station at 5:30 p.m., guests can anticipate appetizers, soup and a main course of their choice. From beef tender chateau with sauteed mushrooms and baby red mashed potatoes to tender shrimp primavera served with a traditional thick rich marinara sauce with Italian blend vegetables on a bed of penne pasta, this interactive dining experience has something for everyone. The train ride is rounded out with dessert and complimentary coffee, iced tea and lemonade, as well as other beverages like beer, wine and cocktails available from the cash bar.

The Wisconsin dinner train rides roll at a relaxing pace through farm fields and dense woodlands along the picturesque Namekagon River. On early and late-season runs, LED lighting beneath the train illuminates the landscape throughout the evening. The train will then return to the station at 8 p.m. and will stay open until guests are ready to say their goodbyes.
P.S. You can also extend your evening with the help of an even more special night on the historic Bed & Breakfast car overnight.
Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad dinner train rides board at 5 p.m. each Tuesday through Saturday evening. Tickets are available for $85 per person.
