Happy Hour Revelry: Grand Geneva Resort and Spa

With roaring fires flickering nearby, the igloos at Grand Geneva are well suited for parties of four to six. The menu is comprised of sharable plates such as the jumbo M.P.C Bavarian pretzel, mini beef empanadas, cauliflower tempura and lemongrass and chicken potstickers that are large enough to be sampled by the whole group. Same goes for the Crowd Pleaser cocktail carafes, of which the pomegranate mojito and the screwdriver mule are particular favorites. The igloos are open through March 17, 2023.

Destination Geneva National has an array of events at the property which families adore. Two of which happening in January and February are The Ice Castles and Ice Princess Brunch. So if looking to extend the experience with a family meal inside of an snow globe (opening Jan. 13, 2023), make a reservations prior to arrival. The 90-minute slots fill fast this time of year and are not available for walk-up service. A turf. smokehouse server will provide you and your family with an exclusive snow globe menu featuring shareable appetizers, festive beverages and delectable smokehouse favorites.

Enjoy lunch as a team away from the office in one of Lake Lawn’s heated igloos. The food offerings are perfectly suited for a work meeting since the Hawaiian bun sliders and nachos can all be ordered a la carte, in addition to the rental fees being discounted on weekdays. Plan to wrap up the planning session with The Chocolate Chunk Cookie S’more that will come with multiple spoons, ensuring no one will be headed back to their desks before the last marshmallow smothered in chocolate has been devoured.

Blow-Out Bash: Maxwell Mansion

Get ready to PARTY in a massive igloo on the front lawn of Maxwell Mansion. Filled with lawn chairs, comfy sofas and plush throws, it’s available to rent for private functions. It’s hard to top a social gathering with stellar drinks close at hand, which is why this boutique hotel has additional smaller domes on the back patio. Both have room for 15 guests along with working fireplaces inside to keep the interiors warm well into the night, even if temps dip below freezing. Guests must be 21-plus.
