Ways to Celebrate the Fourth of July

Fourth of July is just around the corner, and there are a plethora of fun activities and firework extravaganzas set to take place all across the state of Wisconsin. Here are the best ways to celebrate the Fourth of July this year!

The Appleton Area Jaycees Festival is set for Saturday, July 3, and will feature everything from food, festivities and Fox Cities world-class firework display to top it off ahead of the big holiday! Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. and will include live music, children’s activities, food and beverages. The firework showcase will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m., and proceeds from the event will support the Appleton Area Jaycees’ Christmas shopping event for underprivileged children in the Fox Valley area. The Elkhart Lake Fireman’s 4th Of July Celebration is a three-day family weekend set to take place July 2 through July 4, and will feature live music, food, drinks and fun at Fireman’s Park. Kick-off the weekend with Fireman’s Picnic on Friday evening and fireworks on the lakefront begin at 9 p.m. or dusk. The annual 4th of July parade begins at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning followed by the Fireman’s Picnic. On July 3 and July 4, locals can enjoy the Neenah/Menasha Community Fest 2021. The Community Fest, which is an annual Independence Day celebration that’s co-sponsored by the cities of Neenah and Menasha, will feature a fireworks show set to take place at 9:45 p.m. on July 4. The Baileys Harbor Community Association’s Fourth of July celebration includes everything from live music, decadent local fare, plus unique elements like community competitions, sidewalk chalk art showcases and more all on July 4. While firework showcases will be a staple of Fourth of July celebrations all across the state of Wisconsin, the Festival Foods Fireworks “Fire Over The Fox” Green Bay event is arguably the best. The Village of Bonduel Annual Fourth of July Parade is slated for 11 a.m. on July 4, at Bonduel’s local high school, located on West Green Bay Street. The parade proceeds east on Washington Street to Village Park. After the parade, festival attendees can indulge in delicious local fare, ball games and live music at Village Park too. The Egg Harbor Business Association will host an Independence Day Celebration  from 4 to 10 p.m. on July 3 at Harbor View Park. The event will boast everything from live music and food and drink, to an unforgettable firework showcase at dusk. The beach will close at 1 p.m. for the fireworks setup, and an expansive parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. July 4 along State 42 from Church Street to County T.
