The Lookout Bar & Eatery

Delavan

Lake Lawn Resort’s The Lookout Bar & Eatery in Delavan is offering shamrock specials in honor of the Irish holiday–and like the rainbows you might be chasing, these specials will not last. The dining destination is adding traditional Irish fare to its menu, including corned beef and cabbage, soda bread, and a twist on a staple Rueben, a Rueben chimichanga. Everything can be washed down with some cold brews, and the dining special is only available on March 17 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Shamrock Shuffle

Shamrock Shuffle

Madison

With its proceeds benefiting the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Dane Cook County, the Shamrock Shuffle is taking place in Madison on Saturday, March 12. Though the event is more of a dash than a shuffle, the fun will include kid-friendly runs and games, whereas adults can participate in the 5K run/walk or the 10K timed run. All participants will receive a warm, long-sleeve tee and medal for joining in on the fun.

Explorium Greendale St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans and Bar Crawl

Greendale

Celebrate the green holiday the right way–with some hearty food and glasses of beer. The day-long celebration is bringing together locals for a day of traditional Irish fare, featuring bites of Reuben rolls, corned beef and cabbage, Irish beef stew and much more. To wash everything down, the fest will offer Irish red and dry ales (both in a can or on-tap) and Irish whiskey and cream shots. If you stay for nightfall, the fun moves to the streets for a bar crawl down Southridge with four stops along the way. (If you complete the crawl, you get a pretty cool shirt.) Tickets start at $30 per person, and the fun takes place on March 17.
