Summertime and burgers go hand in hand. Madison Burger Week is in full swing, now through July 19, to celebrate the city’s primo patties.
In honor of Madison Burger Week, restaurants throughout Madison will showcase a burger from its menu or craft something new for burger lovers to try. Then, the public is invited to vote for their favorite burger (vote here) as only one tasty offering will be declared Madison’s Favorite.
In addition to time-honored classics, many restaurants are thinking outside the box (or bun!) with unique ingredients and picture-perfect presentation during the two-week-long Madison Burger Week. Tempting-looking entries include the hoisin-glazed pork belly burger from Avenue Club, the Summer V burger with grass-fed beef and lamb from Brasserie V, the black bean-quinoa burger from Everly and the bacon cheeseburger pizza from Ian’s Pizza.,
Best of all, Madison Burger Week is dedicated to giving back to the community as participants were asked to make a donation to The River Food Pantry. Plus, Budweiser, a sponsor of Madison Burger Week, will also make a donation to the food pantry.
