Oakfire in Lake Geneva is a lakefront bistro serving salads, pasta, pizza and sandwiches.
Downtown Lake Geneva is so quaint and beautiful, it’s a great place to walk around when the weather is nice. One of our favorite restaurants in the downtown area is Oakfire, with two patio areas and the best views of Lake Geneva from second story outdoor seating. The lower level outdoor seating is dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend to join you.
Start your meal with one of their appetizers, including Caprese, Burrata, Calamari and Meatballs. Their salads are great to share as an appetizer or enjoy as an entree. One of our favorite salads is the Fresca Salad, made with spring mix, pear, gorgonzola, strawberries, walnuts, lemon oil vinaigrette and a balsamic glaze.
There are also several sandwiches to choose from, including the Sant Elmo made with grilled chicken, tomato, shaved parm, spring mix, pesto and balsamic dressing on grilled bread. You can also try the Sausage Peperonata with grilled fresh Italian sausage link, smoked mozzarella, fire roasted peperonata on a toasted New England roll.
There are three pasta dishes to choose from that includes the chef’s famous chicken parmesan, gnocchi and pappardelle.
The main attraction at Oakfire is their Napoletana style pizza. Enjoy one of the nine Pizza Rossa options such as the classic Margherita or try the Capricciosa with Lake Geneva Country Meats’ smoked ham, mushrooms, black olives, artichokes, mozzarella, basil and pecorino romano. There are eight Pizza Bianca options, including the Napoli made with imported bufala mozzarella, garlic oil, baby heirloom tomatoes, basil, pecorino romano, olive oil and sea salt.
Save room for dessert and enjoy a classic Tiramisu or the Pizza Con Nutella, stuffed with sliced bananas, Nutella, powdered sugar, chocolate drizzle, fresh basil and strawberries.
There are gluten-friendly options available for both the pizza crust and pasta dishes.
