5 Wisconsin Food Trucks to Check Out

Cut Stone Pizza

Kenosha

What was once an Ohio-based firetruck is now the headquarters for Cut Stone Pizza, an Italian destination serving up Neapolitan-style pizza from a retired 1993 Spartan Fire Engine in Downtown Kenosha. The unique food truck offers an assortment of scratch-made fare, including wood-fired pizzas, meatballs, caprese salads and more. Some fan favorites include the Pizza Primavera with garlic aioli, shredded mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, carrots, asparagus and zucchini; the banana panna cotta, with vanilla panna cotta, banana, Nilla Wafers and cream; and the Tikka Masala pizza with marinated chicken (or chickpeas for a vegan-friendly option), creamy masala sauce and fresh mozzarella. An assortment of cocktails is also on the menu, including a traditional Aperol Spritz. Though its truck’s whereabouts change often, you can find its schedule online. During winter, the pizzeria has a cozy dining space available every Tuesday and Thursday evening. For more information, visit cutstonefoods.com
