Hometown: Hoffman Estates, IL
First job: Farming on the family farm.
Favorite ways to spend your free time in WI: Watching my kids in all of their activities, checking on our cows in the pasture with all the kids in tow, enjoying a glass of wine in the evening with my husband.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: Taking Bailey’s Run to the next level with insane growth that we were able to add on a craft distillery. I started at Bailey’s as a part-time weekend bartender and never expected to ever run the place. I’ve helped the business grow exponentially over the last six years with fun activities, riveting social media content along with helping jumpstart Whiskey Run Distillery.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Doubting myself and my abilities.
Someone who inspires you and why: My mom. She’s 72 years old and has more energy than most 30 year olds. She has a very strong moral compass and never quits until the job is done. She has a huge heart and couldn’t be mean to someone if she tried.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Keep moving forward and don’t let anything or anyone pull you down.
Favorite quote: “Live, Laugh, Love.”
Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: That I’ve had my own cattle operation since I was 16 years old and still do.
What makes someone fabulous: Their belief in themselves and holding themselves to a higher standard in life.
