Hometown: Madison, WI

First job: Crew member at Coldstone Creamery.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in WI: At the moment, my free time is slim to none due to working full time as an account executive and running Petphoria. However, typically I like to spend time with family, friends and Beni. Most of the time this includes enjoying yummy meals and cute cocktails.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Launching Petphoria! Bringing a vision and a dream to life has been the biggest accomplishment for myself. I am so dang proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish so far with Petphoria (it’s been three months since launch). From being featured in Madison Magazine to getting an opportunity to pitch Petphoria on Project Pitch It. Each and every accomplishment I’ve worked for and earned, which makes these accomplishments all achievements that I am super proud of.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: Fear. Fear of not being enough, fear of people not liking Petphoria, fear of things not being “perfect.” Many forms of fear that I’ve overcome in order to push forward with Petphoria.

Someone who inspires you and why: My mom because she is an incredible example of someone who follows their heart. My sister because she is such a hard worker and inspires me to continue to push forward each and every day. My dad because he is dedicated to our family and will do anything for us. Lastly, Beni, my dog that has been with me through everything and hasn’t judged me for any of my worst times, or best.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: There will never be “the right time” so stop waiting and do the dang thing! As a perfectionist, things will never be perfect. Being an entrepreneur is all about being flexible and adapting to what makes sense for your customers.

Favorite quote: “Do one thing every day that scares you.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I suffer from severe anxiety and ADHD.

What makes someone fabulous: Being unapologetically yourself.
