Hometown: Cedarburg, WI. Currently I live on the East Side of Milwaukee.
First job: Dog washer at a dog groomer
Favorite ways to spend your free time in WI: My boyfriend and I love hiking and camping with our two dogs, Frankie (German Shepherd) and John Henry (Black Labrador/Golden Retriever). We especially love the Driftless region and our annual trip to St. Germain in Vilas County every fall. Here in Wisconsin, we are very fortunate to have four seasons, and there is no better way to enjoy them than being outdoors with a good dog at your side!
Your biggest accomplishment and why: Landing a job with two of some of the best craft breweries in the United States after only being in the industry for four years. This is a huge accomplishment for me as it is a tremendous opportunity for my professional career and gives me a sense of pride in what I do every day.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Learning to take the same passion I have for our customers and channel it into being an advocate for myself. You cannot be the best version of yourself when you spend all your time believing in others and not taking the time to believe in YOU.
Someone who inspires you and why: Shoutout to my parents: Thanks, Rich and Deb! I am the oldest of five and they raised all of us with an unwavering combination of strength and grace. They taught me to work hard, to love hard, and to always end each day with a laugh.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Your relationships are everything. Take care of them and always be honest. When it feels like the world is crashing in at times, remember to take a moment for some perspective and work the problem one step at a time. Be humble, work hard, and don’t forget to have a ton of fun along the way.
