Christine Dopp is the creator and founder of Natural Intuition Photography (“Our natural, journalistic style makes for rad photos you can relive for a lifetime”) as well as a travel lifestyle blogger with Our Madison Life. Learn about Christine Dopp…
Hometown: Wild Rose, WI (tiny town in central Wisconsin)
First job: Working on our family farm, feeding calves and so much more. I think everyone should work on a farm for a few months.
Favorite ways to spend your free time in WI: Exploring our rad world! With my partner Justin, we travel as much as possible. Even if it’s just in our own state! But we also love relaxing and watching “The Walking Dead” (again). Wisconsin has so many beautiful places that will make you forget you are in Wisconsin!
Your biggest accomplishment and why: Working through the pandemic of 2020 and coming out of it with the busiest years ever. It may sound crazy, but I saw a log of doors close while we kept our own and doubled our business. I am thankful every day to still be doing a job I adore.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Self doubt. Knowing that there is a new photographer every day, it’s staying ahead of the game and knowing there is only one of me. And along with Justin, we create a one-of-a-kind experience where people are excited and leave us having the best experience.
Someone who inspires you and why: Wow, this is a hard one! So many people inspire me in a million different ways. Two people that inspire me most are Ren with HouseFur.com and Maddie Mae from AdventureInstead.com. These amazing women are killing it!
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Do it! Have an idea, try it! You only fail if you don’t try.
Favorite quote: “Feel the fear and do it anyways.” Some of the best things had come out of when I was terrified, but I did it anyways.
Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: My favorite band is Metallica. My first tattoo was inspired by my favorite song, “Carpe Diem.”
What makes someone fabulous: Kindness and being themselves without making others feel small.
