What would you say has been the most rewarding part of being a mother? The love! It’s the fiercest, most powerful and incredible force, and I’m so grateful that I get to experience it.
Best piece of advice you’ve received regarding motherhood? Trust yourself. And it’s true—no one knows what your family needs better than you!
The biggest thing you’ve learned from your children is: To be true to yourself. My kids know exactly who they are and part of my job as their mom is to celebrate and protect their beautiful individuality. And it inspires me to do the same for myself.
What is your ideal way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Years ago, we started an easy Mother’s Day tradition — brunch and shoe shopping! It keeps things simple for my husband and kids, I get a gift that I really want and we can all spend time together.
