Winter Wonderland Outing for Kids

If you’ve yet to visit Madison’s Warner Park to see the beauty of winter this year, then be sure to visit Winter Wonderland Outing for Kids for family-friendly fun in the snow on Friday, Feb. 24 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Once school gets out, the kids can have some fun at Warner Park to get some fresh air, exercise and make some new friends. Meanwhile, adults can also enjoy the park’s stunning snowy atmosphere to socialize and watch all of the action.

The fun afternoon at Warner Park’s Rainbow Shelter begins with snowshoeing. Whether guests are just beginners or more seasoned snowshoers, there will be opportunities to learn more about this fun winter outdoor hobby and maybe even be convinced to buy their own pair of snowshoes afterwards. In addition, to keep warm, there will be fires, melty s’mores and chocolatey hot cocoa. Even if there’s no snow on the ground, a hike around the park will be just as fun.
