“Floods” Virtual Event

On May 11 at 10:30 a.m., Rachel Werner, author of “Floods,” will take part in a virtual event during the 20th annual Wisconsin Book Festival.
People, plants, and animals all need rain. But the ground can take in only so much. Too much, and the land will flood. Farms and cities can be damaged. People must move to dry ground until, slowly, the water soaks into the earth. Learn about floods, what we can do, and how to stay safe.
Copies of “Floods” will be distributed for free to the first 100 attendees. During the event, there will be a link at the bottom of the screen, fill out the form, and a book will be sent to you.
