Summerfest 2021

After being forced to postpone due to the pandemic, Summerfest, the world’s largest music festival, is back this September in Milwaukee and ready to give concert-goers the experience they’ve been craving since pre-quarantine life.

Among the food trucks and activities scattered throughout the festival’s grounds in Downtown Milwaukee rests 11 stages where more than 1,000 performances will take place Sept. 2 to Sept. 4, Sept. 9 to Sept. 11 and Sept. 16 to Sept. 18. Headliners are slowly starting to be announced, and fans will be ecstatic to know the diverse lineup currently includes big names like Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett and the Heartbreakers, Rise Against, Guns N’ Roses, Chance the Rapper and Luke Bryan, to name a few. Other artists slated to make an appearance include Justin Bieber and Blink-182, with dates yet to be determined.

With over 750,000 festival-goers expected to attend, Summerfest is taking COVID precautions very seriously and is working closely with local civic officials and health professionals to implement health and safety procedures for everyone on its grounds including staff, vendors, sponsors and, of course, the fans.

Guests who purchased tickets last year will have their tickets honored for 2021 and will not have to purchase additional tickets. Ticket options include a variety of day passes to choose from, and general admission is $23 for ages 10 and over.
