Milwaukee’s Giving Fest

Need to overcome that winter slump? VISIT Milwaukee launched Giving Fest through Feb. 28, a one-of-a-kind virtual festival to bring together businesses of all kinds for weeks of performances, workshops, games, behind-the-scenes tours and much more.

Whether you are a foodie, a fitness fiend or an artsy soul, there is no shortage of events to enjoy during the weeks-long festival. Giving Fest participants have more than 50 virtual events to take part in, from barre workouts with danceworks, virtual cooking classes with The Westin Milwaukee, online meditation with MKE Yoga Social and much more.

Giving Fest commences with a finale event in which VISIT Milwaukee partners with Light The Hoan, Radio Milwaukee and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. for a Hoan Bridge light show at 7 p.m. Pick up carry-out dinner or snacks from a downtown restaurant to enjoy in your car during the show. Parking will be available in one of the southern lots at Henry Maier Festival Park, and guests should tune into 88.9 on their car radio or phone for the accompanying music. Guests are required to stay in their vehicle for the show.
