Valentine’s Day might look a bit different this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still go all out in showing the people you love how much they mean to you—Wisconsin style. Here are some of the best ways to celebrate the holiday around the state.

In terms of gifts, if you’re looking to really tap into the culture of Wisconsin (or you know someone with a deep affinity for cheese) consider sending a complimentary heart-shaped box of delicious Wisconsin Cheese. These limited-edition boxes pay homage to the state known for its unparalleled food creations. This year, cheesy Valentine’s Day gifts are out, and literal gifts of cheese are totally in.

If you’re looking for something with a little more intention behind it though, there are a number of Wisconsin businesses and shops that you should consider supporting this season. Lev Apparel offers fair-trade clothing and jewelry that’s perfect for the special someone in your life. Hey Sugar Snap boasts photo-related crafts that can take a date night in from good to great. And Perfect Imperfections 608 sells natural body care products to spice up your already-romantic evening.

Many local restaurants are also jumping in on the Valentine’s Day fun with special dinner and dessert deals—many of which are take-out options, so you can enjoy a quaint night in while still indulging in the flavor of Wisconsin’s best dining attractions.
