Taliesin Launches Self-Guided Exterior Tours

For the first time in its history, Southern Wisconsin’s Taliesin is offering a self-guided opportunity to walk the exterior of the historic estate. Guests get to roam the 800-acre estate and experience a unique look into its history from architectural and agricultural viewpoints.

Book your tour on Sept. 13 for Taliesin Family Day, taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adult tickets are $25; students, seniors and military are $20; and children 10 and under have free admission.

Upon check-in at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, tour-goers will be provided with a map and information regarding the estate buildings and Taliesin’s agricultural efforts, past and present. The entire family is invited to take part, as there will be a scavenger hunt for our younger guests.

Tours can be rescheduled with 48 hours advance notice. Note that all self-guided tours require standing, stair-climbing and walking on uneven terrain. Private accessible tours are also available with three weeks’ notice.
