Opening in 1893, Pfister is known for its overall grandeur and exceptional customer service. You will notice this the moment you arrive starting with the Valet attendants. Everyone throughout the entire hotel is very attentive, friendly and helpful. You’ll notice extraordinary architecture inside and out, and the feeling you get when you walk inside is indescribable. Photos really don’t do it justice.

The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee features 307 lavishly appointed guest rooms and Milwaukee hotel suites that perfectly combine old world charm and contemporary luxury. Of the 307 rooms, there are 82 suites that have sitting rooms and wet bars in addition to the standard amenities. The beds might be the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced in a hotel and you can also choose your type of pillow if you would like, with options include a contour pillow and a lavender aromatherapy-infused dough memory pillow.

Dining

You will find plenty of dining options without even leaving the hotel, including the Lobby Bar, Mason Street Grill, Café At The Pfister, The Rouge and Blu. Blu, the 23rd floor bar and lounge, was our favorite spot, with stunning views of the city and Lake Michigan. The Rouge offers a Sunday Brunch buffet, Mason Street is a classic American Grill and the Café is a casual spot for breakfast and lunch.

Ammenties

The Pfister Hotel’s onsite spa – WELL Spa® + Salon – is available to both overnight and local guests. They off private treatment suites for spa services as well as an innovative, salon. There is also a fitness center and an indoor swimming pool located on the 23rd floor overlooking the city, complimentary for hotel guests. We were thrilled to find the fitness center has Peloton bikes in addition to guided workouts on a TV in the free weights room.

Dog Friendly

While Pfister is a very luxurious hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find they are extremely dog friendly! Our two dogs were greeted with love upon entering the hotel and we were provided with beds and bowls in the room and a gift basket that includes toys and treats. The pet fee varies.

For 125 years, The Pfister Hotel has stood as an icon of prestige, history and timeless excellence in Milwaukee. You will not be disappointed with a stay at this renowned luxury hotel.
